Scientists Announce “Game-changer” New Method to Stop Breast Cancer in its Tracks

A group of researchers in London have announced the effectiveness of lysyl oxidase, or LOX, in attacking breast cancer.
The group discovered that, in mice, LOX was able to control and stop the growth of tumors with no side effects. The protein was successfully used to reduce the volume and size of tumors.
Next, the team will select the most effective drug form of the protein and move to clinical trials in human patients.
