Casual Work Day

Have your employer and co-workers support ABCF by dressing in casual attire on specific days, such as every Friday. In exchange, employees can make a small weekly or monthly donation to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

Jeans are a popular clothing choice for casual workwear. Several studies have shown that wearing jeans at work can create tangible benefits for both companies and their employees. In addition, you will be supporting a worthy cause.

ABCF will provide your company with a “Proud ABCF Casual Workday Supporter” poster to display in your business detailing your company’s commitment.

Does your business already dress in casual attire? Consider Pink Fridays!

Corporate Partnership & Licensing Agreements

ABCF’s corporate partnerships and licensing agreements provide vital financial support for its programs through voluntary contributions and/or contributions made through specific fundraising activities in their respective businesses. Many businesses have developed creative and ingenious ideas that appeal to customers and the general public, drawing attention to the needs of those whom ABCF serves.

Propane for Life

Most propane delivery trucks are painted plainly and embossed with the company logo. However, when a propane company partners with ABCF’s Propane for Life program, their trucks are transformed bright PINK!

Besides raising awareness and encouraging the life-saving power of early breast cancer detection with their PINK trucks, the propane company donates to ABCF one cent for every gallon delivered or one cent for every mile traveled by the PINK delivery truck.

Companies report unexpected praise and support from their customers and communities derived from their Propane for Life involvement. In their own words:

  • ENERGY COOPERATIVE – “Our drivers report that, while they were on lunch break, people actually came up to hug them and to say, ‘Thank you!’ Some of our drivers even leave a pink ribbon on customers’ propane tanks!”
  • HOLTZMAN PROPANE – “We had a picture taken with our pink truck and three of our company employees who are breast cancer survivors. We printed the photo in the company newsletter that goes out to all our customers. We had a huge response about the company’s support for ABCF!”

Pink Plate Program

Your restaurant can create a positive public image while making an impact in the fight against breast cancer. The Pink Plate Program is a take on the famous diner “Blue Plate Special.” It is a unique and fun advertising campaign designed to help promote your restaurant and raise awareness and vital funding for ABCF programs.

For the campaign, your restaurant creates a healthy specialty dish to feature on the menu. A percentage of the proceeds from this “Pink Plate Special” would be donated directly to ABCF’s life-saving programs. The Pink Plate Program can take place on a yearly, renewable basis or monthly basis – for example, during October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can choose the duration of the campaign!

ABCF will provide your restaurant with a “Pink Plate Program” poster to promote the campaign, as well as tent cards to display on tables if desired.

Help ABCF extend the reach of the rescue!
