The Education and Community Advocacy Program is rooted in significant personal relationships with individuals to assist them in gaining access to needed resources, services, and support. The strategic platform provided by these programs serves as a link and referral system to local resources and information that is appropriate to the needs of the client. Individuals can contact our Program Director to provide them with a current and reliable list of reputable resources within the breast health network. Referrals are provided to callers when program funds are limited.

The ABCF Educational Program empowers patients through effective education to be participatory partners with their health care providers to develop action plans. These lead to better disease management benefits, skills in breast cancer prevention, knowledge to seek best-practice care and treatment, and access to critical interventions proven to provide optimal breast cancer health outcomes.

This resource educates and empowers individuals who are facing the challenges that come with breast cancer and to raise awareness. You will find expert advice to help you discuss key issues with your health care provider.
