Dr. Maria Kowzun, a graduate of Yale University and John A Burns School of Medicine, is a board-certified surgeon with fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology. She is currently a breast surgeon and member of the faculty at Rutgers Cancer Institute in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She also works out of Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, New Jersey.

Dr. Kowzun is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the Association of Women Surgeons. Her goals are to provide the highest quality of care in breast health with a focus on the diagnosis and management of breast cancer. If there is one thing that Dr. Kowzun, MD, FACS, wants women to know about breast cancer, it is that mammograms can save lives.
