American Breast Cancer Foundation Partners with MammoLink® to Expand Mobile Breast Cancer Screening Across Florida
November 26, 2025
New community partnership will help to remove cost and access barriers to breast cancer screenings for patients across Florida.
Tampa, FL – 11/26/2025 – The American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) today announced a new community partnership with MammoLink®, a mobile breast imaging provider that delivers advanced 3D mammography and breast ultrasound directly into communities across Florida. Through this partnership, ABCF will help remove cost and access barriers to breast cancer screenings for uninsured and underserved patients in areas where care can be hardest to reach.
This collaboration is part of ABCF’s Community Partnership Program, which works with trusted providers to offer reduced-cost or free breast cancer screenings, diagnostic mammograms, and ultrasounds to individuals who might otherwise forgo care—expanding both convenience and capacity by bringing services directly into the communities where they’re needed most. ABCF partners only with FDA-approved mammography centers to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and patient experience.
MammoLink® operates five state-of-the-art mobile units that travel to communities, schools, workplaces, and clinical partners across Florida. Each day, these units collectively screen approximately 150 patients, with buses running six days a week. On average, MammoLink® sees between 40 and 80 uninsured patients per month across its mobile units. ABCF’s support will help ensure that uninsured patients who rely on MammoLink®’s mobile services can access breast cancer screenings at no cost.
“Partnerships like this remind us that when mission-driven organizations unite, the results are exponential. The American Breast Cancer Foundation’s support fuels our shared vision — a world where early detection isn’t the exception, it’s the expectation,” MammoLink® said in an official statement about the partnership.
Many of the Florida communities served by MammoLink® are considered medical deserts, with few or no nearby imaging centers. Residents in these areas frequently rely on mobile units as their primary access point for breast health services. By directing Community Partnership funds to MammoLink®, ABCF is helping to expand access to critical breast cancer screenings for uninsured patients in these communities. “The American Breast Cancer Foundation takes great pride in our community partnerships because we see the impact every day,” added Megan Molloy, ABCF’s Executive Director. “When we combine financial assistance with trusted providers, we open the door to early detection for people who might otherwise be missed..”
Medical clinics, imaging centers, and health care consortiums interested in being considered for ABCF Community Partnership funds are encouraged to contact the Foundation’s Bilingual Program Coordinator to learn more about program requirements:
