My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer about 8 years ago. We thought she beat it. She made it past the 5 year mark with no cancer, but it came back. 7 years after she went into remission, she's fighting it again. She will have a mastectomy on 3/1. She is such a strong, amazing woman and she will beat this again!
