Playing to Win for Breast Cancer

09/20/17 By Beth Anne

On September 11th, 2017, more than 50 women gathered at Gregorios Restaurant in Potomac Maryland for the “Mahjong and Cards for a Cause” event. The afternoon featured lunch, mahjong, canasta and door prizes for everyone. The event raised funds for American Breast Cancer Foundation’s grant program to provide mammograms, ultrasounds, and other early detection services to uninsured, underinsured, or underserved nationally. "Mahjong and Cards for a Cause" was chaired by Hinda Kahn and Gail Colen.

In his welcoming remarks, Jacky Loube, CEO of ABCF, highlighted upcoming national events and the organization's recent publication, "Detecting and Living With Breast Cancer for Dummies" written in partnership with the Wiley Publishing Co.

We here at ABCF would like to sincerely thank all who attended this lovely event! To learn how you can host/organize a fundraiser of your own, please visit http://www.abcf.org/fundraising.
