More Info:

Paint It Pink is a social media campaign aimed at raising awareness and vital funding for the American Breast Cancer Foundation. The campaign will take place throughout October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The funds raised will support ABCF’s lifesaving programs, which aim to reduce the disparity in access to breast cancer early detection care.

The project inspires you, your family, and friends to paint something PINK and share your creations on social media platforms, encouraging others to do the same. Similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge, it encourages donations as well!
ABCF has partnered with Plaid Crafts, manufacturers of popular craft paint, to help spark engagement from crafters across the country. Plaid has generously donated hundreds of bottles of pink craft paint to be distributed to select campaign participants.

Creations big and small can be shared with the hashtag “PaintItPink4ABCF” to encourage participation from friends and family.

“Through the generous support of the American Breast Cancer Foundation, the Task Force is able to increase access to quality breast health care for underserved women. Your support has helped us increase our capacity to serve more women and save more lives through screening and early detection. As someone who has been personally impacted by breast cancer and the unnecessary loss of a loved one due to inequitable care, please know that your support is invaluable.”

- Teena Francois, Associate Director, Community Health Initiative, Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force Chicago, Illinois

“Although I would not ever have imagined this journey that I have been on since the beginning of 2014, I feel incredibly blessed and fortunate. Had it not been for the Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force, I would not be the cancer-free survivor I am today with a rich future ahead of me. Thank you so very much!”

- Daphne J. Chicago, Illinois

“Thank you again to those who make it possible for women like me. We can get these free vouchers that help save our lives, to continue to be, and doing what we love in life. I have been given the opportunity to continue along side with my family.”
